Wednesday we had lunch with dads Chinese teacher her name was Lea. We had Hot Pot, I cooked it by myself after we had lunch at Hot Pot we made a cake at Hot Pot restaurant. I made Hello Kitty Jacob made Happy Cat there was lots of cream. After Hot Pot we hired Bikes and then rode them inside City Wall. It was 14 km I rode with dad Jacob rode with mum it was really fun and steep.

Thursday we went to the Terracotta Warriors there were three pits number one had the biggest  number two had the least and numbers three had the second most. We had a guide to show us around. Her name was Lilly. We wached a movie about the Terracotta Warriors.

Facts about them: They got built for Emperour. Qing (Ching)  when he died. They got burnt down by the farmers  because they didn’t like him after he was dead because he was hard on them. Some have colour and some haven’t. They reburied the ones with colour so it didn’t fade.

Yesterday we went on a train, it was called a bullet train it went fast, it was 5 hours but it felt like 2 hours. It went to Xi’an on the train I helped Mum on the numbers because it was hard. It went 303km/hours

Friday 16.October.2015
In the morning I slept in, it was a relaxing morning. I updated my blog then did some school work then breakfast. I ate cornflakes. I did yoga with Cindy, Nick and Mum.
Jacob came up later. Cindy and Nick are the house owners. it was fun!!!!
We caught a train a train to the Temple of Heaven. When we got home Cindy and Nick taught us how to make dumplings, it was fun!!!!!!!!

Saturday 17.October.2015
On Saturday we went to The Summer palace. We did lots and lots of walking. We caught a boat over a lake. There were lots of people. It was a bit cold. Lots of people took photos of Jacob and I.

Sunday 18.October.2015
We got up early to go to Tianamien Square and The Forbidden City there was so many people thereDad left the pass ports at home so we couldn’t go in to the Forbidden City.
We took the taxi to the house then dad got the passport and then we headed off to the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City was big it had over 8000 rooms we only saw a few rooms.

Today we went to the great wall of China. We went up a chair lift to get to the top. We went up lots of steep steps. We walked 1k, it was hard, but I liked it. I liked the view. We went down the tobbogan ride to get down from the wall.

Then we went to the olympics stadium, but it wasnt on. We saw the Birds Nest and the Water Cube which looked like a big ice cube.

Sunday – First stop… peek tram. we had a fun ride. we went up escaltors to the very top. We had a good look out over the view of Hong Kong, it was big.

second stop… 800 metres mid-level escalators. The escalaors were very long.

third stop… the ferry. It was called a star ferry. We caught it over Victoria Harbour. We went up the front.

Monday – fourth stop…  ocean world. We went on lots of rides. roller coaster, ships and water rides. There was a scary roller coaster ride. It was called the mine train.  We saw a bird show.  it was telling us don’t chop down trees becasue birds won’t live.  We saw a dolphin show.  It was telling us don’t throw rubbish in the water – like plastic bags and bottles otherwise sea creatures won’t live.
